Add Email Accounts in Smartermail

  1. Login to SmarterMail by going to You must login as the Administrative email account - typically the 1st email address that was setup for your domain.

  2. Select the 2 gears icon from the column of icons down the left side of your Smartermail window

  3. Expand the Domain Settings menu and select Users in the Settings menu

  4. To add a new email address click New in the Users window
  5. Enter the Username for the new email account where that is
  6. Enter and Confirm the password. The password must be a minimum of 8 characters and contain an upper and lowercase letter, a digit and a special character
  7. Most other options can be left at their default value
  8. Click Save at the top of the Users menu

How to Forward email to another email address

  1. In your User Settings screen select the Forwarding tab as shown below and click Save.

How to Remove Email Accounts

  1. To delete a user or email address click the box in front of the email address to be removed
  2. Click Delete to remove the email address and all email stored with that email address
